Is the Center closed for holidays?

We are closed – New Year’s Day, Good Friday (1pm Closure), Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor day,Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas (2 days) and one teacher training day – usually in September.

When is tuition due?

Tuition is due the first day of attendance each week.  Please place payments in the box outside the Directors’ office.  Accounts unpaid will be assessed at $15 late fee.

How do vacation days work?

Each child has the equivalent of two weeks of vacation based on the enrollment agreement.  You may use your available vacation days by filling out a form.  If you are not using a full week of vacation at a time, your amount due may be figured by taking your weekly tuition amount, dividing by the number of normal attendance days in a week to find your daily tuition amount.  Then take that amount, multiply it by the number of vacation days you are using and subtract this amount from your regular weekly tuition.  IF you do not have any vacation days available the full weekly tuition amount is due.  Please speak with the Director if you have questions.

Do I have to pay if my child is not here one day this week?

Tuition is due regardless of holidays, announced closures and sick days.  You may use vacation days if they are available for any absences.

Do you really have to check Grandma’s ID?

For the safety of your child and the other children we require all our teachers to check the ID of all persons picking up children that are not the guardians.  It is important that the pick up list be updated in your child’s file on a regular basis to avoid any miscommunication.  When teachers become familiar with individuals who regularly pick up your child, their IDs may not be checked.

Why do you have fund raisers?

The money raised each year through fund raising allow us to purchase extras and to improve our equipment and supplies without additional tuition increases.  You are welcome to jump in and participate in any that catch your interest.

What forms do I need to turn in each year?

• Medical Forms for children over 24 months
• Emergency Contact Form
• Income Eligibility Form – Food Program
• Emergency Medical Permission

Why do I have to turn in Medical Authorization Forms for over the counter medication?

We are required by State rules and regulations to have a form on file for any type of medication that we administer.  Each month our nurse visits the center to make sure that all our forms are in order for each medication and child.

Please ask the office if you need any forms.  It is important that our records are kept as up to date as possible.  Don't forget to update your child's emergency contact information if you get a new cell phone or work number.
